Thanks to DOCG from Hendersonville Kennel Club

Cannot thank you and “The [DOCG] Team” enough for the hours of dedicated service and expertise you supplied Hendersonville Kennel Club Show! All the judges were so grateful for the stewards’ ability to keep those huge classes moving smoothly. I’m sure each judge knew that if the show had provided less talented stewards, judging time would have doubled. We thank you all again for what you brought to and did for the Show!

Regards,

DOCG October 2009 Trial–Raffle Table

Posted in Raffle, Trial Committees on July 28th, 2009 by DOCG.Membership-Chair – Comments Off

DOCG Members:

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. The DOCG October Trial will be here before we know it and it’s never too early to be thinking about fundraising raffle items for the raffle table.

The raffle table is a way for DOCG to offset costs and to pay for new equipment. We have a reputation for having one of the best raffle tables because of the many great items our Club members and friends contribute.  As the Raffle Table Chairperson for the October Trial, I am reaching out to you for support!

Although it’s only July, it is a great time to begin planning and scouting for that really special item that will grab the exhibitor’s attention to want to buy lots of raffle tickets!  We have been blessed with a great turn out at our March trial and we hope to continue to have another great show this fall with a spectacular raffle table filled with lots of wonderful items donated by you. We need your support for a successful raffle table!

Think of it as “Christmas in July” and start your raffle table donation planning early! For your convenience, you may drop off your raffle items at Dog Trainers Workshop, or bring it to a training day. The Raffle Table Committee listed below will be happy to hold onto it for the trial. OR, if you are not ready to drop off your donation, please let one of the Raffle Table Committee members know that you will be bringing a donation and we can collect the donation closer to the October trials.  NOTE:  When making a contribution to the raffle table, please write RAFFLE and your name on the donation

And….once again, DOCG is donating 10% of the profits from the show to “Take the Lead.”  Take the Lead is a not-for-profit foundation dedicated to provide direct services, support and care for all qualified participants in the sport of dogs who suffer from the devastating realities of life-threatening or terminal illnesses. With your help, we can make a difference in people’s lives.

Thank you for your help and support.

Happy training,

Raffle Table Committee:
